Buying A first Team Roster Spot

I’m being told by insiders that it’s possible to spend your way on to the Blue team at PDA. We are ok with a warm bench seat. What do you suggest I spend and how should I funnel the money to the head coach. Thanks.

Definitely true. But this chain will be buried fast by all the MF nonsense - PDA cannot handle the bad press and calls anyone that says anything against the club a "hater". It has been going on a long time but not brought to light until recently. Money talks - just like everywhere else in life.

Sponsoring golf holes and donating defibs seems to have worked for others. There may be new wrinkles but those have been successful. Outisde training with the coach is another good way to bypass the IRS. Good luck!

Here's how it worked for us at Matchfit Shore with my 2010. My wife and I took Ryan Tetro and his wife out to dinner. We picked them up in a limo, and went out and had lobster and champagne, even though RT wanted white Claw. After dinner we talked about soccer and my d, and Tetro offered her a spot. The fact that she is in a wheelchair didn't matter. Although, i did have to by $425 in girlscout cookies from his kid, which was odd because it was his son, but thays for another thread. So when all is said and done, it was dinner and $425 for us to get her a spot.

So what you are basically saying is…. you did not spend enough to get your kid on the starting team? Shame on you! Lmao. You all wish it worked like that, gives you an excuse.

Not yet but we are prepared to. I just got a raise at work. Thanks to everyone else for the input. Some great ideas.

P.S. roster spots 15-23 absolutely work this way.

Private training is the way to go. That and a few donations to the club. Babysitting where appropriate is also a good path.

Let’s call it like it is. Your kid couldn’t it at PDA so instead of just excepting it, you make excuses.

TS readers, don’t feed into this garbage post. This is what they think is amusing. Total waste of time.

Matchfit is hemorrhaging players and PDA has people who want to be there so bad, that they are will to pay for it? Even though the second part isn’t true MFS parents are making an argument that doesn’t look good for their own club.

Maybe you can donate a field or something.

Who said my kids isn't on the team. I just didn't have to pay for her spot like others that ride the bench. All good here.

Nobody is buying spots on PDA. Just a bunch of jealous guy who can’t figure out why people love PDA
