Amen. Not even a question if I keep my kid on bench of his team or go to a mfa. She’ll learn more at practice with Mick. Not even an option to go to a second rate club just to be a starter

You drank too much cool aid. Once you take a step out you will see how much money and time you have wasted to have your kid on a bench. Its crazy to see the parents on that team and the other teams look at MS like some sort of soccer god. Where most of see an over the hill, overly anxious coach that has robots bowing down and giving him cash. His style is old and he isn't creative. His players are good - but no one on there is mind-blowing. If they were they would be crushing PF, SUSA, WCFC by 5-0 and making it past the playoffs - which doesn't happen. Reminder they lost to PF and tied both SUSA and WCFC.

Couldn't agree more with Mick being a very good coach, he is...it was the spots 18 on and on up on the roster that I'm talking about...top White players get passed over for those spots as the old payola program kicks in. You see, those players rarely if ever see the field, so he'll stack his bottom roster will those with deep pockets - meaning they can pay for the extra trainings.

That’s conjecture and speculation. He doesn’t need 5 extra girls on his team for side training. He has kids that want to go his trainings that aren’t even on his team.

This is true. He has had up 26 players at one point on his team. Only 18 dress and 11 play. There are many that are happy to simply train and be on the bench, be with friends and wear the uniform for tiktok and snap. But seems those players by association get college coaches reaching out and get offers. So perhaps their strategy of not playing does pay off. The only issue is when they get to college and are without their friends -- what do they do then? My assumption, ride the bench at college as well - which is much easier in many ways.

Same parents who say MYOB when it comes to them flying all over the country for tournaments. Are the same one’s worried how much the bench players on Mick’s team are spending for privates.

Spending $ for spots is the topic of the thread genious.

What does it matter to you how people spend their money?
If a parent wants a kid to be on a team wit 30 kids so be it. Let them make the decision.

It is about the club numbnuts. Parents can be as stupid as they want to be with their kids.

This thread has nothing to do with PDA. It’s purely an attempt to distract people from what is really going on. And that is the mass exodus at Matchfit by top players at multiple age groups. Only thing you are pointing out about PDA is that people actually want to be there! Not so much at Matchfit Shore.

Sure that's definitely why. Its okay just be truthful. Kids only train with him to move up at the club - otherwise they would go to far better trainers closer to their homes. That is their choice but don't pretend it doesn't exist. Its not a secret and has been going on for years.

Learn what? How not to play soccer? This is possibly the stupidest comment on the board. How did that work for the last batch of kids MS pushed out for new toys.

Most of the time those parents are the ones that are upset and paying to stay on the bench makes little sense. Your accusations have little merit
                                Not accusations. Facts.
