Just curious, if MF Shore's 2009 team is ECNL, how can they be holding 09 tryouts in April? ECNL rules state no tryouts till May 1st. I guess they are above the law. Now watch, someone from MF will post its not for the ECNL team. Once again, MF Shore pulling off shady things

They will claim the 09 tryouts are not ECNL tryouts, but if there happens to be any talent, Tetro will try and recruit for his ECNL team. In a way, it's a sneaky but clever way to get a look at kids before official ECNL tryouts in May.

Just my two cents, but I think any club that has a ECNL team should not be able to hold "generic" tryouts for that age group before the official ECNL tryouts. That gives them an unfair advantage to scout kids out before anyone else.

Let's get this straight, your shocked and surprised that MFS is doing this? Lol, you need to wake up. This is RT's m.o. Anything he can do to give himself an unfair advantage, he will. Did you forget how he was holding full team trainings during the worldwide covid shutdown?

Wait a sec, I thought MF Shore only has the one 09 team. If this is not a tryout for the 09 ECNL team, what your saying is there is tryouts for a team that doesn't exist?

I'm not defending this club, but I thought the May 1st deadline was for open tryouts, which could include ECNL players from other clubs. Otherwise, you can get discovery players before that deadline

Hey NH from PDA, check out this ****. Your competition is holding 09 tryouts in April for a team that doesn't exist. Not to worry, these aren't ECNL tryouts, lol
