The way I see it is who cares who is traveling to tournaments? If you join a club and they are up front about traveling, and you don't have a problem with it, then it's your business, no one else's. If the MF Shore team wants to travel all over the world to play, thats their deision. Now on the other hand, if kids make a team and they keep adding far away tournaments and parents can't afford to keep traveling for whatever reason, the club should not hold that against them. Not everyone can afford to constantly travel, and I know I can't keep taking time off of work to do so. Some parents might have that luxury to take time off, I don't. What I see is a issue is parents being pressured into traveling for fear of retaliation from the coach. A few people posted on here saying they went along with tournaments even though they couldn't afford it or felt they didn't deserve to be there. (MF Shore and Supercopa for example) I did have a friend whose kid played for one of RT's younger teams and they had to rack up their credit cards for tournaments they were afraid not to attend. When I asked her why she just didn't say no, she said she heard RT will take it out on the kid by reducing playtime, not starting, and worse yet be constantly reminded that there are other kids interested in the team/spot. (At 9 and 10 years old a child should not have to constantly looking over their shoulder for fear of being replaced) Now I'm sure this is where a loyal MF Shore parent will say that isn't true, that this is a troll post, but do the research on here and see for yourself how many times people have said the same thing. On a side note, I find it disturbing that the MF Shore parents are now calling these PA girls "average" players and that they won't be missed and are easily replaced. Please keep in mind this whole thing started with MF asking for 2022/2023 commitments now. Just because a parent didn't feel comfortable with committing now is no reason for this to escalate to name calling. I really hope if the PA parents decide to stay to finish out the season, they come on here and see what their fellow parents are now saying about them.

I find it disturbing that you (and others on here) really believe that a MF Shore parent actually wrote that. Let’s be real, this forum is laced with disgruntled and bitter former parents. These parents are clearly trolling these posts and writing defaming comments to feed their wounded and fragile egos. It would be prudent to not lose sight of this. Carry on.

I agree there are plenty of trolls taking advantage of some fresh meat to pounce on but there are definitely some MFS 09 parents posting given the specifics that’ve been posted about these families.
