Not the poster and they're very off base with a hint of truth. While there sometimes may be a bit of overlap A to B, we're talking about hairline differences between the very bottom A players and top B . Maybe two players with extremely similar skills. Even if you can get moved up to A you're probably going to be a bench warmer. If you're good enough to crack the starting A roster they would have moved you. If you're a rare example where the club won't, then move to another club but only if the it's a good fit. Clubs generally will move a player that obviously belongs. They don't move the ones that are interchangeable.

I agree with you to some extent. However, I would add that "better" or "worse" can be subjective, as are circumstances. For example, perhaps A team is loaded with great defenders but not so much at midfield or forward; it's possible that the B team's top defenders are "better" than the A team's midfielders and forwards but doesn't get moved up because the A team is all set with defenders. Or another example where A team coach likes big/fast/strong players and B team has a lot of small/quick/technical players; how do you consider "better" or "worse" here?

Another perspective: as mentioned, D was on B team for years at her club. Now she is in college at a NESCAC school, and many of the A team players from her club are also at NESCAC schools. D is seeing more playing time and has generally had more success in college than all but 1 of those A team players on their respective teams (and if you look at NESCAC this year, the top 6 teams are all very similar in quality). Does this mean she should have been on the A team in her club years? Not sure if she would have developed the same way if she was. Entirely possible that if she had moved up to the A team, she would have seen less playing time, gotten different coaching, etc. Just some food for thought.

Looks like PDA white 2005 . I think B team is better than A team.
