23 girls from NJ and 2 from Staten. I applaud MO for keeping local talent in state. No easy task.

With the exception of FSU the final 4 women’s college soccer rosters are very localized. Why is this? Recruiting budgets?

FSU has kids from all over the place including a heavy international presence.

YEs they are, but they had a shaky start to the season. Finishing strong

FSU has always been successful with a heavy international roster. they can't offer any more than 14 full scholarships but maybe do have a bigger budget. BYU is weird, an outlier. SC is blessed to be ont eh West Coast with an abundance of great talent. No need to go far to put together a top roster. Good school too.

To win an ELITE match and make the Championship Cup is the most difficult accomplishment for a team. The pressure of knowing your one match from making the final four in California is as hard as it gets in this tournament. The heart break of losing and having your season end so abruptly especially for the Seniors is devastating. If your team makes it to California your then playing with “house money”. What do all these teams have in common to make it this far? They all have two very important attributes that these elite coaches look for in players, mental and physical toughness. All of the Elite 8 have those two attributes. When you ask what college coaches look for in players who are skilled with technical abilities that’s it. That’s what makes an elite team. Watch these four team and you will see these attributes and how they are as important as skills & technical abilities. More importantly have your daughters watch these games.

06 Louisville? So before Louisville was ACC? You are a true fan.

Correct. Not all same youth clubs (or instate colleges) but locals. Very cool.

You understand that many internationals, in general, have homes in FL?

Correct. And Stanford was 2019 national champ. FSU was 2018. UCLA was 2017. FSU has been in the college cup and finals for last several years though.
