And that’s just the girls side. Boys side has lots of top teams too. Clearly they’re just taking everyone’s money and not producing anything with it. Oh, except top teams in the state in every age group.

PDA White Regional ranked above PDA White ECNL. That makes sense. Look at all those non-ECNL teams MF ECNL wouldn't beat just in NJ. What benefit is it to play at MF again?

I'm the original poster. My son plays on an MF ECNL team and my daughter on an MF ECNL team. In my opinion, the Boys ECNL teams (on average) are on par with the "bottom-tier" of the MLSNext teams (CSA, Real, TSF, etc) and significantly below the "real" MLS Academies (Red Bulls, Union, NYC FC, etc).

On the girls side, it's similar. The top ECNL teams are significantly better than most of the GAL team while the top GAL teams are on par or better than the bottom ECNL teams (i.e. MD United, FC Bucks, PDA South, etc).
