it seems like the 2010 PDA teams have switched places (White is playing in North Atlantic Pre-ECNL and Blue is playing in New England Pre-ECNL). I wonder if the league approved this or PDA just decided to do it themselves? Also, seems like they are artificially driving up the rankings of the White team.

Which would in turn artificially drive down the Blue rankings… so let’s not start any bs conspiracy theories there. Just like the 2011’s took 0-0 offices draws against lesser competition in an EDP tournament, hurting their national ranking. PDA isn’t as obsessed w ranking as many attempt to make them.

Back to 2010’s, it’s Pre ECNL so nothing official yet. Im sure there are reasons for the move.

I’m not on PDA but I agreed with their decision to withdraw. As far as convincing someone at EDP to give them draws, I don’t believe that and unless you are that someone at EDP all you are doing is spreading bs.The rankings are a joke, your trying to tell me that the 2011 MF white team is better than PDA blue. There is not one single person in the tri state area that would ever believe that. PDA is definitely not concerned with rankings.

This is a 2010 thread. Maybe the safety of the girls is more of a priority than winning some silly tournament, especially when they realized there had no competition. Risk a girl rolling her ankle because she slipped on a soaking wet grass field or withdraw and let the other teams take the trophy. Who really cares. You’re arguing over a sub par EDP tournament.

Yeah, they didn’t. They said the fields were too dangerous. But they didn’t go to the fields to see for themselves. And EDP and every other team deemed the fields to be safe and playable. But PDA makes their own rules I guess.

Agree. MFS is the worst with kick and run. Surprised so many parents, especially of the younger ages, believe that’s going to get their kid ahead come 14-15 years old. It’s going to be a rude awakening for sure.

You guys are obsessed with a stupid low level tournament for 10 year olds. This happened months ago, let it go man. Your probably a parent that kid won a trophy and if PDA hadn’t forfeited you would have lost.
