PDA '09 Nick Heinemann is the real deal; MF Shore Ryan Tetra gets easily outcoached

There is no question that Nick Heinemann and the fellow coaches at PDA know a thing or two about soccer. Watching the Championship Game this weekend at FC Stars Cup, and previously reading all about WE ARE THE SHORE, PDA Legacy held position for 70% of the game and MF Shore 09 failed to have a legitimate shot on goal or breakaway; merely two free kicks from about 30 yards out. The talent was top notch on both teams and the game was hard fought, but PDA's foot skills easily regained position in the middle and they dominated passing around the MF Shore players. PDA is much more tactical and that is why they fair so well in ECNL and national tournaments. It is evident Nick Heinemann cares about developing his players and has been successful at doing so. It also seems some top talent has come to the team this year to make it stronger.

I guess it's not how many games you play but rather, how good your coach is at teaching these young players the actual game and the level of competition you play against. MF Shore will struggle in the ECNL, playing top teams like SUSA or Pipeline who all play tactically. Better coaching will help but not sure it will come fast enough for MF Shore.

I will not post a link to the video because it's on someones personal fb page and I will not give out their info without their permission. I did tell her to forward it to Jenn Winnagle, the ECNL girls Commissioner. Frankly, I couldn't care less if you don't believe the video exists. You are probably one of the MF Shore parents that suck Tetros balls for playtime.

You know what's really funny, and this goes to prove how stupid the MF shore parents are... a MF shore parent responded on a thread that they saw the video but it was PDA's fault. Nothing about what Tetro said, but said the collision was PDA'S fault. Theres not a doubt in my mind Tetro did say this. He always wanted to beat a pda team. He did it last year, and all his stupid parents were on here bragging about it. Truth is, tetro never stopped his team trainings during the shutdown, and when soccer resumed he had a 4 month advantage over everyone. He beat pda north right after soccer resumed, and when NH didn't have his regular kids. I feel bad for who ever let the goals in at the PDA game. Unfortunately, that goalies days are numbered. Maybe if Tetro wasn't hungover from the Saturday night binge, the results would have been different. But then again, NH is a far better coach then Tetro.

I was there. I am neutral. I was on the parents sideline. No way in hell did you hear anything specific from any sideline. What you did see is the Pda coach heated and pissed off. So likely something was said but to offer specifics from that distance is just silly. Of course by the reaction of the coach it seems to be something serious.

I was also there behind the goal closest to the food stand and I could not hear what was said, but concur that the PDA coach took offense to whatever was said and started yelling at the Match Fit coach. I was twice as close as the parents sideline and couldn’t hear what was said, so claiming a video from parents sideline picked it up seems very unlikely to me.

I think the speculation comes because those that know RT and know how crazy he is about beating PDA would not doubt he would say something like that in the face of losing that game. I did not see video, but I did hear an account of the game and believe he did say something of the sort like “hurt them harder”. It was definitely something offensive and inappropriate.
