Meg is a great recruiter. Still is. I think her coaching skills are missed at RU vs just recruiting.

And that should change. In NJ, soccer is recognized and touted.

LOLOL, Soccer in NJ is just a thumbtack on the ECNL Clubs map of all four regions.

lets be honest though, RU was the better team in that game.

they have more resources than Hofstra so they should look better and win, guess the training the hofstra girls got was better?

Soccer is only measured in goals for and goals against. Wins and losses. No style points in soccer.

I scratch my head every time I hear someone yell “unlucky” when a player misses a clear shot on goal. It makes me want to throw up. No, it’s not “unlucky”, they missed because of XYZ..etc

Some people think shooting is not a skill you can learn and improve so they think it's all luck. Even if you practice hours and hours you won't get better unless you have good technic. You can improve your shooting technique in 6 months and become a better player rather than lucky.

In America we’re using “unlucky” phrase too liberally.

If ball struck well, it’s unlucky if ball hits posts, GK gets a finger tip on it, or defending player just deflects ball wide.

We’re using phrase when the ball ends up in the parking lot, or never had a chance. That’s not unlucky, that’s when player not getting body over ball or body positioning was entirely off on the strike.

it’s really funny to hear, oh that’s so unlucky when the ball striking was terrible.

Well, unlucky for the team that the striker is so bad. Haha
