Agreed. Harris was very good. The others not all starters though. Still good players.

If you beat the big ten team 1-0 then yes, it’s a win. But when you’re not able to put up points against early season teams, how is the 1-0 going to come in the big ten?

I might have. Is that the one making like $30K playing in the NWSL? My oldest D's engineering degree got her more than 3X that to start and like most people has moved on from parents living their lives through their children.

Why can't they do both. I have a coworker that did professional cycling until his late twenties and then he started his career. He got to trave the world and do what he loves for a bit and then he stopped and got a job at a big company. What's the rush to become a slave to the corporate overlords, live your life to the fullest because you only have one.

Well league minimum is more and she likely signed a contract for more. Congratulations for your daughter, doing what she loves. Same with this player and others like her.

So I actually agree with you that these ladies should follow there dreams and if given the chance to play in NWSL they should take it no matter what the pay is. Thats what I want for my daughter. But, its obviously an easier thing for well off families to do. Thats the shame of the whole system. Its pay to play all through youth, then depending on what kind of scholarship most girls get you pay to play in college, then you get paid minmum wage to play professional soccer. If your parents arent helping you then you need to have a side job just to make ends meat.

Congratulations to your daughter for graduating from college and getting started in life with her degree in her field of study. I want to think she is very proud and excited. You, on the other hand show your hurt and insecurities by stating the professional soccer player making much less is less successful. You just don’t get it. The goal of the first year NWSL player is the success of either being one of the 48 drafted or invited by the team to come to camp. That’s the goal, that’s the dream. Of course the pay is low to start but that’s not the objective. You would rather diminish these players to satisfy your own hurt and dissolutionment. You need to move on in life.

Like I said put the list of the top 30 programs with these highly desirable players from NY/NJ and see how many would choose RU. These young adults have no interest in playing soccer in NJ.
You say that RU is not a top 30 school, not worth attending, and they still didn't recruit your daughter. That says it all.

That’s not what was said. That’s your interpretation. The intent is to compare the top 30 with RU in the mix. The topic is why RU cannot rec rust the top players in the country and have to rely on one club in NJ. That’s the topic. It’s a two edge sword with you TS anonymous posters who despise the club and despise RU womens soccer which is one of the most successful athletic programs at RU. All of a sudden you’re coming up with ideas for recruitment. You people are in your own world.

                          What does it say exactly?

Not getting recruited by MO is a bad thing?

Do you think his kid is worthy of a spot on the team?

All of a sudden? Posters change so do ideas. Plus the amount of money that will be available due to the Big10 media contracts for football is astounding.

RU should be pumping money and ideas into marketing. They have a seat at the table that only a few are invited to attend. Players know this too. RU's time has arrived.

Many put there own kids on rosters in plenty of college sports. Maybe his kid wants to become part of the staff in the future. Learning how it works is quite valuable.

Why are positive ideas a problem?
