Derry has a great program and utilizes British Challenger trainers for the fall and spring seasons. If you are interested, the Derry Travel Director is Chuck Espinola..email is espijr@yahoo.com. Contact Chuck for more information.

If you will be living in Nashua and don't mind a small commute, the best club in the area for girls is the Stars of Mass. They practice in and around the Acton Mass area. Thier girls U14 just came back from teh National Championships in Texas and I heard one of the girls on the team actually lives in Nashua.

There are a number of NH girls on many of the Stars team. The U14 team (now rising U15) you refer to had three. The U15 team (rising U16) team had two. There are even more on the yunger teams.

I understand that there are still openings on the U15 rising rovers ( the team that used to be the bolts) and 2 or 3 spots remaining on the u12 and u13 teams

I am in no way associated with this club or state and I coach premier in Massachusetts. Jeff Pil is an extremely knowledgeable coach. I have no idea the level his team is at but no matter that he will make your child a better player. I don't even know if he is the coach of the age group you are looking for and if not then I might consider other options. If he is then I would look hard at that option

                Phill's (take the "h" out)

Jeff Phill's club (Express SC) is probably the closest to a Virginia club. Both U12 and U13 girls teams have great coaches and players. The Phill's approach really makes a difference.

For those of us who are not part of the cognoscenti, what are the distinguishing characteristics of a "Virginia club?"

I would assume a "Virginia Club" has ham in it. Just kidding I have lunch on the brain.
