Originally posted by Unregistered View PostLondonderry girls return almost their entire starting team from last years runner up squad. If they don't win it this year it won't be due to a lack of talent. They have the most. Bedfords a nice squad, Exeter is solid and Centrals ok but none compare on paper to Londonderry. Their college commits are very impressive.

DI BOYS:
Bedford, Central, Hanover and South are looking like the real deal. Hanover's 0-2 loss to Bedford was not a surprise but Hanover won't make the same mistakes twice if they see each other again. Windham's record looks good but the level of competition to this point has been the bottom half of DI. Alvirne is showing they need to be take very seriously. I will be interested to see what happens in their Oct 1st game with Hanover after Alvirne just had a competitive 3-2 loss to South.
DI GIRLS:
No surprises here at all: Londonderry, Bedford, Exeter and Central. Everyone else will be looking up at those 4 all season long and nobody has shown they can challenge them yet. Sorry BG girls - but you still have not won anything against those top teams yet to convince us that you are a contender.
DII BOYS:
ConVal and Lebanon still are and were the favorites, coming into the season and they are holding pace. The rest of the division is WIDE open with no clear #3 or #4 team so far. The rest of the division is filled with parody - Oyster River should be there but needs consistency. Merrimack Valley boys look like they might knock on the door of the big dogs - lets see if they can get a foot inside.
DII GIRLS:
The most competitive division in soccer this year with the depth of good teams. Bow, Milford, Hanover and Pembroke are all capable of running the table. Hollis Brookline and Oyster River can compete with them but need to play their best to beat them. ConVal girls were exposed for their weak opening schedule with two blow out losses to Pembroke and Milford with combined score of 9-1.
