Wrong. RC is leaving this week due to a visa issue. He coaches several younger teams including u9 girls and at least one more. Check your facts jack!

He'll be back. Short term issue and being resolved.

Oh ok. "Don't let the facts get in the way". Wasn't that your statement?

The fact he is leaving just happened a few days ago, AFTER the post stating ____ number of Seacoast coaches were leaving. I think its different conversation when 1 coach leaves to renew a Visa versus a claim that 10-15 coaches were forced to go home due to Visa related problems. Not sure on Seacoast but GPS NH has made a concerted effort to add coaches who live here and don't require visas. This is different then the past when most coaches were on visas, now its maybe a 3rd that are on short term visas.

In the past coaches went home over the summer. Home for a month or so resetting the clock maybe they stayed over the summer with all the summer camps then got caught and have to go back now during the fall.

                Who is RC?

Assuming it is true about the number of coaches it is from Seacoast (I have no idea...), I'm wondering if it's something that maybe they have cracked down on (US government). So, maybe previously they have gotten away with it without a problem and assumed they could again... For example, maybe in the past, there was the ability to extend the stay a few months with a simple process... But the rules are now more enforced? I'm just guessing since I can't understand how else it could affect that many coaches without it being noticed as a problem?

Not so much a crackdown but ever evolving regs. We've lost two people in my company who couldn't get their visas renewed. They never had issues in the past. More and more people are having issues and it wasn't an easy process before all of this

You hit the nail on the head, there have been changes made and policies are now getting enforced. What was once easy to do, is now not so easy and this will impact any company that relies on Visa'd workers. I am sure the IT/Tech industry will be impacted.

OP here and yes that's the industry I work in, but I've heard of cases in other industries as well. Costs a small fortune in lawyer fees also. It's a very complicated process and you need a lawyer who knows what they're doing. How many coaches or clubs can afford that? Easier for the club to send the coach back home and bring in a new one with a re-set button

I happen to know there is one club coach in the state that is also an immigration lawyer. There's help out there if people need it.
