What's the Point of NEFC NH and Stars NH?

Besides a one ringer team on each - the average quality of player for either club is bordering on Town Rec and the "coaching" is outdated and low level at best on these two clubs. Parents who pay the money for the non-ringer teams are throwing good money after bad!

They are trying to build a program in the state, and it takes time to build programs from scratch. I happen to think the coaches are pretty good, some are friends of mine, players I've played with/against, and others that have coached my kid in a different environment.

That being said...we are not a part of neither of them, and have no plans to. Knowing some players who are playing for them, I don't expect them to have much - if any - quality for some time. But, they have quality programs backing them out of MA, so at some point they may start to pull in better players.

I just don't understand the person that comes on here periodically to bash these two programs. Are you bored on a Friday afternoon? If you are happy with your program why come down on these clubs. Do you hope to build yourself up by putting down whole teams of kids? I really question your motive here. The soccer landscape in NH is not optimal for development, but players and parents do their best to find places their kids can develop.

The other recent thread about NEFC wasn't a bash in any way. They were just seeking information about the club. From the OP of this thread, sounds like they have a way to go similar to FC Stars NH.

GPS always coming on here to bash competition. They have some good teams and recruit like crazy and they love to criticize other club's coaching...please. They have a lot of below average and some average coaches. Plus they think they know everything. Laughable really.

Considering the stronghold that GPS and Seacoast have on this state I'm a little surprised at the approach NEFC and FC Stars are taking. They can't compete at the older ages so I would think it would be best to take a long term strategy and start with a junior academy to bring in the younger players and build from there. It seems they are focused on the older teams and after GPS and Seacoast have filled their rosters there's simply not enough talent to go around.

Nice assumption, why call out one club as the basher? Do tell all of the instances you've seen GPS NH on here bashing. The convenient option would be to assume that its NWC bashing as the majority of one of the clubs mentioned by OP is run by old NWC coaches.

Didn't realize NWC is still around. How many teams do they have now?

They are definitely a shell of their former selves, but still some good people there. BV is a fantastic coach, but I wonder if his role will get minimized now that he's at St. A's. Most of the others have left, NEFC is the landing spot.

While I agree that if you were to blindly blame an organization, NWC would be my first guess. Certainly had an 'air about them' for a long time. I don't see where GPS has bashed anyone. Seems that drifted over from the Mass thread.

But, I don't think any organization is to blame. More likely a parent of another team. That's usually how this website rolls.
