    US Club Nationals

Good Luck to all the NH teams heading to Colorado in just over a week for Nationals. Hopefully we, as a state, can pull off a title or two!

No brackets or schedules yet but it will be interesting to see the team placements. There will be 2 levels, Premier and Super Group, according to their website. Not sure how US Club decides who gets placed where but can a team who wins their Premier bracket/playoffs really claim to be national champions?

They certainly can....doesn't mean they are stating that they are the best team in the country.....just the winner of the tournament with teams at the the same level.....Leave the super group to the ECNL and NPL teams....the premier group is for everyone else in my opinion. quite an accomplishment for sure.

            Good luck to all

Goods point but there is a difference between a national title for schools that are clearly identified and defined as division 2 and a club team that has played lesser competition to get to the nationals in a premier bracket. Division 2 schools do not have the player or financial resources as Division 1 schools and setup to compete with schools with the same rules from the beginning. The club team just couldn't match up against the better competition and was relegated. I also believe the straight to nationals for state cup winners is in some ways watering down the level of competition but that is a different discussion.

Great accomplishment to get there for all with life long memories. Enjoy your trip and good luck to those teams going!

I agree with your point about state cup winners going straight to Nationals......not sure why others have to wins regions and several NE states win and go. I don't get the logic...would be interested if someone is in the know..
