    Birth Year.

I've heard Seacoast is definitely doing birth year this Fall (it is a "best practice") and apparently optional for '16 and mandatory for Fall '17. Any idea what GPS is doing? I heard some murmurings from parents of one of their top girls teams that they were just going to "age up" all of the top players regardless of birth year.

GPS usually goes by what NEP and US Club Soccer mandates/does.

IF Said, parent was paying attention they'd know that they've scheduled Birth Year training sessions. Information is also on their site. I also believe NWC has information on their site as well.

They are following the rule starting Fall '16. They won't be doing much pushing kids to an older group, so those who missed the cut will move ahead, the rest will stay age-appropriate.

I do not think this is correct, almost all players boys and girls will go birth year, some, a very small number will play up!
