Dual Rostering / Club Passes

Nhsl need to stop allowing dual rostering and limit club passes.
Dual rostering should only be allowed if a player is playing it two seperate leagues, NHSL allows dual rostering in its own league. NHSL also allows up to 5 players to use club passes per game and I think it should be more like 2 per game.

Here's my story my kids play for a large town orginization in NHSL. Thay have started placing whole teams up 1 to 2 age groups competing at the bottom levels. They roster around 14 players total with 4 being dual rostered for freedome of movement and they also use the 5 club passes for better age appropriate players so games can be won.
The player club pass system is intended to help field enough players by bringing up players to fill open spots (gamesmanship ) not bringing in better age appropriate players to dominate the game.

I think the only thing these younger players + parents are getting out of this is massive egos.

By limiting the club passes to 2 it would allow teams to still use them but limmit the affect on any game.

I am not trying to be a jerk, but why stay. It seems like they do not really know how to run an organization or develop players, they just want to say they are playing up, despite the low level of soccer in the 5th tier.

What group is this,maybe someone has a different presepective?

My kids have been with them for a few years now. They have exellent facilities and great training.
U12 players playing U13 + U14 boys + girls , U14 was to be a U13 team but moved up an age group so older kids can play for them, so they can win games.

I wanted them to play U12 but at top level but town + kid won that fight.
I am sure more groups do the same thing. To me if NHSL can not allow this to happen, younger players are not going to learn how it deals to fail at something and other lower level kids that get destroyed will quit before thay have a chance to get better.

This isn't Stars of Mass. If you are on a lower tier NHSL team and your coach brings in ringers for the sake of winning and it impacts your kid's playing time, get the hell out. You are paying money for the opportunity for your kid to achieve his or her maximum potential even if that means making a HS team and not much else. I don't believe in the every kid gets a trophy philosophy, but there's no way a win at all costs mentality is appropriate at the lower tier of NHSL.

Sounds like a Well run program that only has Players best interest in mind. Oh wait, no it doesn't, it sounds pathetic. One could only wonder what program it is.

My guess is windham they have the only teams playing u13 with a u12 names.

I talked to a parent on the top u14 team and she said u12 players are allowed to play in any game they have and if you coach a lower team or in with the league your u12 player will start and get more playing time than kids on the team.
And said it makes it very hard to win with u12 players and lost there first game because of to many of them.

Not just about winning its about u12 players winning.

Unfortunately we were not able to place U16 teams last fall, for some unknown reason we did not retain enough U14 players from the year before.

However we will try again, all we need it 8 to 10 age appropriate players then we will fill-in
with board members U12 kids and others as needed.

This Windham chat just doesn't have the same passion as the Londonderry folks do.

I am a windham / south central parent and everything that has been said is true. I do not think many parents are aware this is happening. They have group practices not individual ones and there really is no way to tell a players actual team other than by kids size.
I feel that if I expressed my feelings to them it would effect my kids playing time.
Try sitting there at games listening to the U12 parents makes me want to puke.
I hope more people get on here and give there two cents and windham reads them all.

Probably they want to play, and there aren't enough players on the older teams. I am guessing they are doing those teams a favor. No good deed!
