    Not really sure.
Coaches need to fallow the rules to make sure they are eligible to coach the following year.
If you can not follow the rules you have no business there.

Rules are there for a reason, it's unfortunate that some do not fallow the rules.

Not sure who jack^^^ is, but YOU may want to rethink and re-read. It looks like he is breaking the rules. So maybe jack^^^ is correct. Look in the mirror, maybe you are the jack^^^
Trust me. I'm not, but you clearly are one. No reading comprehension or understanding of the situation. I'll accept your apology as well.

Not reporting any potential violation would be an ethics violation and that would make you no better than the coach in question.

Londonderry's HS currently has 17 varsity roster spots, contact with 5 players vying for a spot would be 29.4%.
Hahaha!!!!!! Not even from nh and you know there are exactly 17 varsity roster spots.

Btw: It states maximum tournament roster size which is 25 in the nhiaa rules.

You are bad at comprehension and math.

Spot on, in case you get a job anywhere, you shouldn't coach any place the spring before. If you are FALLOWING the rules.

So once again we see this guy putting Londonderry soccer in jeopardy. Why do we keep letting this happen to us. The teams at LUSC have declined considerably since he was a director and now VP. Now after reading this rule, it looks like the high school team may be in violation with the NHIAA. That could be very serious for the future of the program.

              Why is this allowed?

I wasn't agreeing with you, I was making fun of your silly assumption. Londonderry soccer is on the right track. Coach Ellis is a good guy and a good coach. You are a single person full of sour grapes. Read the thread & you list many reasons to get rid of him. Every time someone refutes you, you throw out something else. There is no drama on the team. I implore you to volunteer to help lusc or the goals club, or be a team parent, if you think you can help, or have good ideas.

I have been reading these posts and it seems like alot is wrong w/londonderry soccer. it also seems like much is centered around this guy. a lot of points are made of why he is not doing a good job
                  1 breaking NHIAA rules
                  2 favoring his son
3 announcing before tryouts that underclassmen not on varsity (which goes back to favoring son last season)
                  4 same team...same drama...same coach
5 teams leaving lusc since his arrival

Not sure what is being refuted. Seems like many good points are being made of why he needs to go. Sometimes arrogance and ego can get in the way of what is best for a program. This is a perfect example of it.

Maybe that is why the goals need volunteers...nobody wants to support him. Why would lusc need more volunteers? There is not enough enrollment to justify more volunteers.

It is allowed because like most towns your town probably is political. A little birdie tweeted that the AD @ the high school is an old buddy of this coach. Good luck getting rid of him...you'll need it.

Funny you mention politics in your last post. There is an old trick in politics that is "if you repeat a lie often enough people start to believe it." That is what you are doing here. If you really "bleed blue", just stop you are making yourself look ridiculous.

Just to clear up your list I will answer it

1: breaking NHIAA rules - a few posters have pointed out no rules have been broken check with the AD if you don't believe me. The administration knows the Coach Ellis coaches a travel team, they know the percentage, and can actually do the math for you if it is too hard.

2:favoring his son- Watch his son play for yourself. Ask his teammates, ask the parents on the team. Trust me people will think you are being a jerk, b/c you are.

3: announcing before tryouts that underclassmen not on varsity (which goes back to favoring son last season) He did not announce this, and it is a lie, already proven as such.

4: same team...same drama...same coach- this post was from a mom of an underclassman, who has been on a team with a lot of drama all these years, their boys are doing great this year. They love coach Forrest. There are so many Juniors in the program this year, I can only think that is great for growth. (see above about underclassmen, that is why they said it would be difficult for underclassman, but one of them did, kudos to him!)

5: teams leaving lusc since his arrival. Coach Ellis has been part of LUSC for at least 8 years now. We all know that number in LYSA, LBC, and LAFA are all down, because numbers in the school district are down. I personally know that our younger team was hard to keep together because players left because we wanted a premier option, which lusc didn't offer. If they brought in a premier option we would have stayed. That is what they tried to do I wish it worked out.

Maybe that is why the goals need volunteers...nobody wants to support him: Goals supports all of teams. the poster was just suggesting that you do something positive, rather than hurl insults at one guy, you have a personal beef with.

Why would lusc need more volunteers? There is not enough enrollment to justify more volunteers. - LUSC is an all volunteer organization. I am sure they always need more help. see above about volunteering. It is not just LUSC that needs volunteers desite being down numbers, LYSA posted on facebook that they couldn't release their team lists because they did not have enough coaches, so volunteer there if that is your preference.

It is allowed because like most towns your town probably is political. A little birdie tweeted that the AD @ the high school is an old buddy of this coach. Good luck getting rid of him: Nobody wants to get rid of him, you keep ignoring any positive posts. When none of your other arguments stick, just blame old boy politics. Coaches in our district are interviewed and chosen by a whole board of people.

See what I did there refuted them all. Lastly hanging out on the sidelines this year has been great. Our teams are doing great. The coaching staff is great, and a cohesive unit.

Wow!!! A lot of time on your hands...you must know everything...you can see inside and know all these posters thoughts and identities...How about giving us yours???

Since you appear to be positive why not give us an identity??? We need to hide ours because we are not related to him. Only those close to him get preference.

I have and know kids in multiple sports in town and can tell you that this is the most political sport.

Don't worry about the identity question...We all know that you are related to him. No one else would refute anything that has been said except for a relative,,,,,,,,,,,

Actually I think anyone whose kid actually made the team would refute what has been said. It seems like it's the whiny parents of the kids who aren't good enough to make the team who are making everything up. Either that or people with other agendas are doing it.

He's had success coaching at both the club and high school level which makes the people who accuse of him of nepotism and favoritism look even worse in my opinion. I know it's harder to admit your kid simply isn't that good rather than blaming the coach, but in the long run it would be best for both you and him if you finally accept it.

Okay okay. Now the lies are starting to come out. I agree with a previous poster that we should not speak about kids, but you stating that noone has a problem with him or his son playing is wrong. I am on the sidelines and hear many speak that his son has no business taking playing time from anyone!!! Last year it was joke "swin player". This year nobody under junior year except one on the team. Too bad his son is not good enough to make a team that his dad does not coach.
In his son's defense, he does try hard but trying hard does not make you more talented. I feel bad that this is being said but you opened it up by saying that noone has a problem and ask other parents about him.
Too bad that you made it come to that. Why don't you ask people outside of your circle and try to get an honest answer. We are on the sidelines and hear it week after week. Maybe you need your ears checked or try moving up and down the sidelines and listening!!!!!

When thing like this happen it really is the downfall of any sport.
The kids know who belongs on the team and when those deserving spots get passed by, they do not come back. They get jobs to buy there first car or go run track "they do not have to be related or hand picked the gun goes off you run" and are in better shape for spring soccer season.

The coach's name is in this thread. You have singled his son out as a target. This is irresponsible. If you are a parent/student/coach at any NH school, you might be in violation of NHIAA and high school rules against cyberbullying and the acceptable use policy.
