    NHSL FALL Jamboree

NHSL posted the schedules on there website.
They have boys and girls teams playing agenst each other.
New way of playing games or just a f*****up league?

I could see maybe having the younger kids playing against the opposite sex but having U13 and U14 teams do that is crazy.

Just checked it out U10 has a coed group, U13, U14 are playing boys vs girls. I think that's the stupidest thing ever, but I would like to see the girls win. If any girl gets hurt that could be the end of that League.

Was told nhsl asked the two girls teams to drop out. U13 team did but the U14 team would not, will they still be allowed to play?
ALLIANCE FC U14 GIRLS hope you win.

          NHSL Fall Jamboree

That Alliance team is playing U14 Maple D1 this fall. I'm sure they can handle themselves or the coaches wouldn't have agreed to them playing against boys. Alliance is from Hooksett, wouldn't be surprised if they've already scrimmaged the Hooksett boys...

            Nhsl fall jamboree

My daughter has played with and against boys every year for as long as she has been playing in this league, she is currently a U14. We've come across a handful of "coed" teams in the upper ages and from what I've seen, these girls can more than hold their own.

It's unfortunate the jamboree has such low participation. The league did a TERRIBLE job advertising it, it wasn't even on their website besides in their calendar section. You can't start sending emails about a jamboree two weeks before and expect healthy participation. They dropped the ball big time on this, hopefully next year they get the word out much sooner and have it on the front page of the website.

The low numbers might be something to do with Seacoast running a preseason jamboree this weekend? They have over 100 teams (U8 - U14) I believe?

The Alliance FC Girls team more than held their own today playing against three boys teams. They played ninety minutes of soccer and didn't give up a goal while scoring four of their own.

There is no doubt that girls teams can beat boys teams....think of how many levels of play there are. The top girls Maple teams could beat the 5th level boys maple all day long...

GPS/Classics also had a great jamboree. We had a great time. Hoping to come back next year. It was worth the trip.

The were 87 teams and by the looks of the schedule the attendees were all teams from the area that used to be part of the NH Seacoast Youth Soccer League. This tourney was basically Seacoast providing a venue for those teams so they couldn't/wouldn't/have to do the NHSL Jamboree. Soon enough NH will be fractured into 2 "travel" leagues, NHSL and a Seacoast area one.
