Very much agree with you but if I ask my kids what they want it might end up being something crazy like travel to places interesting to enjoy life for a change. A winter off skiing in non ice covered trails would be high on their list.

Btw I could care less if my kid plays in college. I just wanted them to stay in shape and not play hockey.

Enjoy life because at some point all we will have is totes full of shin pads / old cleats and chewed up soccer balls.

Surprised I haven't seen a Seacoast Sucks bumper sticker.

What's wrong with having multiple clubs being competitive in the same state? Maybe be happy that the standard is improving in general in the state?

All this talk about Elite Seacoast teams. They won only one more title than wc. They have crazy prices. They have non-consumer friendly practice times. and they make you travel to NY/NJ, when clearly they have enough local competition. Parents are being hosed. All the talent going to GPS is really the anti seacoast movement. The lightening won NO games in state cup this year, so why are they part of the Elite enough NPL crew? Honestly why? It is not about quality players, it is about the big shake down.

Lots of inaccuracies here. Seacoast won 5 titles including the U-18G and U-18B. World cup won 2. If you want to hear about crazy tuition, ask parents from other states like NY, Pa and NJ. I believe the tuition is fair given the amount and quality of training, league and tournament play that it includes and the excellent facilities available for year round play. Travel is part of the deal in soccer today. It can be fun. The practice times and frequency are about the same as every other club from what I've heard. You can't get hosed if you do your homework.
