GPS wins that in a heart beat. Didn't they already beat the Bolts Academy team in a scrimmage.

How would I know. I do not follow scrimmage games that my kids are not involved in. Clearly you are a parent of a GPS player. Why not just state that they beat another team.

By the way, I would not put much stock in a scrimmage game. Unless you are familiar with the players on the Bolts Academy team, how do you know who you played. They roster over 30 kids on that team.

I happen to believe that GPS and Seacoast Academy would be a fun game to watch. You are a bit delusional if you think GPS would win in a landslide. Let's see how GPS does Sunday against the Seacoast Premier team.

I don't believe the poster said NHPSA would beat Seacoast Academy in a landslide.

Oh please. You accused the poster of being delusional about GPS beating Seacoast Academy in a landslide. The poster never said they would beat them in a landslide, or even beat them at all. He was referring to the Seacoast U14 team. Sorry I used NHPSA instead of GPS. Big deal. It's the same team we're talking about. In the end, who even cares about who beats who except for a few psycho parents? What is your issue?

I made a comment that I would like to see the GPS elite team play against the Seacoast U14 Academy team. I do not care who wins. I think it would be a great competitive game. The poster replied to my post by stating "GPS wins that in a heart beat. Didn't they already beat the Bolts Academy team in a scrimmage". They were clearly referring to the Seacoast U14 Academy team. Sorry I used "winning in a landslide" instead of "wins that in a heart beat". Big deal. It's a similar outcome.

And yes, I know its the same team. I was being a wise@$$. I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy of your nitpicking my use of the term landslide instead of heart beat.

Well, I stand corrected. I read the past few posts a few times and I mistakenly thought he was still referring to the u14 club team. Which GPS should win easily.
No way do they beat the academy team in a landslide (or a heartbeat)

Got soccer points are now garbage. NHSL teams have tons of points now.

I would like to know too. The result seems surprising.

Seacoast played a great game. Pure and simple. GPS was not at their best. Very sloppy. And it looks like the edge they held for 2 years in speed has evaporated. Should be an exciting State Cup tourney.

To any non-Seacoast or GPS parents that were there; did something seem odd about that game?

What would be odd is if any non-Seacoast or GPS parents were there. Seriously, the fields were essentially shut down at Seacoast... If there was anyone there who was not associated with either team (unless it was a ref), they need to get a hobby or two.

I felt Seacoast were the better side overall. Many chances created through the big offensive player and should of scored more. GPS lacked cohesion and speaking to a couple of people there, the coach had some of his non starts in first who competed very well but I felt it was his supposedly top superstars who let him down. The bigger stronger guys who had been that size for the past few years are now beginning to struggle against players catching up to them. They struggle to possess the ball and are not good technically. Big blonde boy #16 and other one #14 just kicking the ball away as far as they could not the passing style normally associated with a good young soccer player/club. Looks like things are changing and all those crazy gotsoccer GPS parents in for a long season...
