Seacoast SC duped the NHIAA boys soccer

I’ve been following soccer for quite some time and I have never witnessed the influence Seacoast has in NH. The recent NHIAA boys D1 All-Star seIection is clearly a monopoly. And if your is not part of seacoast club, than your kid an outsider.

I know someone is going to say I’m a bitter parent. Howeverr it’s very evident many parents and kids are beside themselves with the numerous posts. I won’t mention the texts I received or the conversations I had this evening.

Not taking anything away from those boys who were selected but, the coaches who participated in the voting are clearly seacoast coaches. I could highlight many but, here is a comical text I received this evening. Tell me how 2 Bedford midfielders get voted a defenders? And how do 5 Bedford players make the first team?

I share your frustrations. They are not all seacoast coaches but Pepper and Diaz certainly pushed their boys,

Bedford has had a conflict of interest history with seacoast. Every year they promote the club and if your kid does not join he is out or does not get the same treatment. The AD is a bit of a tool and can’t do a damn thing about it.

The boys Bedford coaches remind me of the Laurel and Hardy British-American comedy show and by their inherent luck, they act like it.

If can’t coach a winning squad made up of the all-stars first team, then you might as well sell your seacoast program.

Uh, the coaches across the division vote. Kids aren't appointed by one team/coach. Sometimes the best soccer players don't have the team it takes to win it all but it doesn't mean they aren't good players.
The kids who play club year round will generally be better than a kid that plays for 4 months a year. There are exceptions, but they are rare. Until another club seriously gives Seacoast a run for it's money in the state it wouldn't be surprising that a majority of these accolades continue to go to Seacoast kids.
