    The rule has been dissolved

Sounds like the beginning of a rant, just not thought out. What does any of that even mean?

I think it means that players who play in MLS Next will be allowed to play high school soccer.

It’s actually been going on for a while. Kids will pass up on academy and play high school then mysteriously show up on the instagram photo of the starting lineup at Dallas in the mls cup.

          Source for that?

I know in the past they’ve allowed waivers for kids who have received scholarships in anticipation of them playing soccer (say at PEA, KUA in NH or Brooks in Mass).

Privet Schools can get waver however if your parents pay and then ask the school for a form or waver its not suppose to work! But Public schools you can't do it and public schools are public record so this will not end well! I think of 5 parents waging a Law suit maybe because there kid followed the rule and they showed club and MLS next 6 players that broke the rule with out any discipline. Nor self reporting with email showing the concern and proof. So now they want to get there kids allowed to play or they want another year there kid lost in HS soccer! Its really a big issue.

Except there are not soccer scholarships at schools such as PEA, Brooks, KUA, or any other NEPSAC school. These players are granted waivers because most independent schools have some sort of athletic requirement.
