    Charging for tryouts?

I see BES is STILL charging for tryouts, not to mention it has to be CASH. Just a couple more reasons to avoid this shambles.

you should definitely avoid the tryout fee and go pay twice as much for the season at Seacoast! You show them!

Hahaha, once you add in all the “ala carte” options from BES that are included in Seacoast fees, BES is actually more expensive.

So don’t try out? seems like a pretty easy solution if you dislike the way the club is run. I know we live in this culture where we feel everyone needs to know how we feel about everything and an anonymous forum is just too good to resist, but this one is an easy one. Just don’t go.

p.s. Seacoast charged in the not so distant past too.

p.p.s if you can’t afford the $20, you probably can’t afford club soccer.

Figured it out: Become Elite Soccer.

New tagline should be: "Become Elite Soccer - turning soccer players into lacrosse players one day at a time"

I didn’t post about the $20 tryout fee, just responded to the inaccurate analogy of Seacoast being twice as much. If you want to get the same amount of trainings and tournaments from BES, you will most likely be paying BES equal or more money. If you have a basketball, hockey player, or skier and don’t want any winter training and fewer tournaments then you have an option to not pay BES any extra $ for services you won’t use.

BES is more like town soccer than club. Just saw they’re playing at Amherst this weekend. That’s not a club soccer event. Do people really pay that much for town soccer type programs?
