Aztec North is in maybe their 4th season. Why don’t you give them a few years before you start putting down their kids (yes, they’re KIDS) for not playing at a high enough level of college soccer for you to approve?

Tell us what school your kid plays for. I’d like to follow her. Genuinely curious. Better be in the top 5 though. Otherwise why bother?

So, you look for common denominators, schools being the most relevant in this situation.

How does it hurt you if another club has one or two or three good players? They only count if they commit to a college program you deem worthy? Silliness.

3rd team? Who’s the 2nd? I thought Aztec NH teams were second to Aztec in Topsfield.

One thing very evident, on the boys side certainly. Those 2nd and 3rd Aztec teams especially the 2008 and 2012 north boys teams have not lost a game in the last 5 and 2 years respectively against the Seacoast Bedford Elite (1st) teams. Don't believe it check results and game scores for league and tournament games. Facts speak louder than opinions with nothing to back it up. So much for Aztec 2nd and 3rd teams in the North Region. Bottom line for all the blind people is this, 3Step sports acquisition of Aztec will just mean less options for parents in the NH region with respect to pricing etc. As far as the market down the road you will be selecting Pepsi vs Coca Cola.

The issue with a club like Aztecs is that they have Napoleon syndrome. They don't have a seat at the table, and are offended by that so they come on constantly to tell everyone how great they are. Why do you care what others think. If you are happy, and the kids are happy, isn't that enough? What are you trying to prove?

You think there are some great players. You can't prove it, so it we'll just leave it at that. The goal is to enjoy the game. Try it.

Well, the "town team" statement is harsh. But NH has 1.4 million residents, MA has 7 million, NJ has 9 million. Demographically, NH just doesn't work as a base for one of many mid- to lower-tier teams, but with the goal of competing across the Northeast. It doesn't make any sense for them to drive hundreds of miles to play games, there is plenty of very good competition within a 60-90 minute drive.

I don't know any myself, but I'd bet some of the top players in NH are already commuting to MA to play soccer.
