Well, we were very proud of our 14 and 15 year olds that stepped up to assist the 2007s this weekend since they were 9 starters short with 7 at ODP and two out the entire season with knee surgeries. So you go celebrate the Stars losing to the team we beat just last week, with only two available starters. Loser.

I thought club is supposed to come before ODP? Or is that only true at the higher levels? I can’t imagine a player missing playoffs on our team for an ODP event.

It’s a good question. I’m wondering if some of the stars kids in northern mass/southern nh were asked to head north.

The stars staff have gone silent on this thread. Any truth to the rumors that some of the mass kids will be shipped up to play for stars nh? This isn’t a criticism,it’s just the talent pool in New Hampshire isn’t all that deep. The mass kids will definitely help if it’s true.

Anyone know what’s going on with the 2007 group? Not in the NEFC tournament or the FC Stars tournament and only 12 girls on the roster. Did it fail to launch?

Nope they have 13—14 kids and were still recruiting might have picked up a few more at tryouts last week

I think eventually Stars Nh will be a solid option but being granted two ECNL regional teams and one of them not being able to field a team for the thanksgiving tournaments is a bad look. I’m guessing plucking players from the seacoast teams wasn’t as easy as it seemed. Luckily Aztec in Tynsboro is in serious trouble because of their new owners so help might be on the way.

Aztec isn’t in trouble and it’s not the new owners…they are blaming new owners. Aztec north has always been second to Aztec home office north wants everyone to think they had a chance they never had which is made up by team parents TBH. Solid club but nothing new they bleed a few players like all clubs do each year and replace them our team has done great. I don’t like Aztec north blaming their bosses so publicly to parents not smart and sounds like priming the parents to follow them to a new club in June and say look we solved the problem.

Our coach hasn’t publicly blamed the new owners but there has been a serious lack communication with the high school teams leading up to the winter training. With that said my daughter would probably follow them to a new club so don’t threaten us with a good time.
