Looks like the U12 boys is going to be a good matchup between NWC and NHPSA

U14 girls....NWC looks very strong. Can they be stopped?

U13 boys...heard a semi-final game got called...coach got a red card. Anybody know what happened?

I heard the same thing.. not sure what happened, heard there were 4-5 yellow cards and the coach was red carded. Also heard the parents aggressively approached the refs. Mark Sadler was the center ref. Parents were "crazy" and were heading to Mines Falls HQ to complain. Not sure what happened but heard there has been bad blood between teams in the past...

They are a good program for the mid to lower B level players. Mid B to A will need to head to NHPSA to play competetive soccer/

In what way? nhpsa was bigger, faster and more technical...what did you expect? Other than a few penalties (ref was bad) what was the issue?

Aztec's U11 Girls soccer team

did anyone witness this team play?? Seriously unreal talent and speed. I bet the could have won the U12 premier divisions as well.

Teams that don't participate in the premier divsions are not worthy of discussion with the premier divisions.

Are you crazy?? The two teams that were in the finals in the U12 premier bracket. Are in the same division with this Aztec team. And both have beaten them this season. Aztecs have a 1-5 record. Bayside 5-0. NHPSA classics 2-3. So don't be too sure of yourself

Well, while I agree with you that the poster you responded to was perhaps being a tad ambitious by saying they could have won the U12 bracket, too, there is more to it than just pointing out the records. The Aztec team is a U11 team playing up, and although 1-5, almost all of their losses have been close games, including only losing 2-0 to Bayside and 2-1 to NHPSA. Now, of course scores don't always tell the tale of what occurred during the games. But while suggesting they would have won it may be a bit over the top, I don't think it would be crazy to suggest that the Aztec U11s we're talking about would have competed well in the U12 bracket of the NWC tourney.

Not sure what your comments even means. The
Aztecs played in the Premier division in the tournament and play up in age in a premier division in the NEP league......I guess that isn't worthy of discussion.

Agreed, they may not have won it but they sure would have given it a shot. I was at the games as a field Marshall (my daughter plays on NWC). My only point was I was seriously impressed. The SS Select team they dismantled as a very good team....it was 5-0 after about 6 minutes of play. The rest of the game was simply ball control and practice.

I watched the U12 premier team champ game and I am sure the Aztecs could have had a chance.

My only point was to give a team some credit.
