What happened at Seacoast United? What happened to the Girl's Coaching Director? Do they really have a father & son in the two director positions now?

They brought home 8 state titles on the girls side under him, why would they get rid of him now? Has he left for someplace better, or did they get rid of him?

State Titles
I hear MS is a great guy, but State Titles? Not much in the way of competition in NH. If they did change then hopefully they made the right choices.

MS is a great guy but he voluntarily left the position of girls DOC to pursue a different career path. As far as him leaving the club altogether I'm not sure. My child is not on the U14 girls team he was coaching but I have been told that some swift and positive changes for the better have been made under new coach IS.

"swift and positive" why? winning 8 state titles not positive enough, why do they quickly need to change from the course MS set? I always liked MS, and found him to be a great coach. Is it because he doesn't have one of those fancy accents? I am amazed that people who pay so much for a child's sport ask no questions about what is going on behind the curtain, and get no answers. "swift and positive" "great changes" all sound like talking points given out by the club. How am I the only one in the club that thinks this seems like a bad thing?

You aren't. Plenty of others who don't like the change either. The person who responded with "swift and positive" is admittedly not involved with the team. Ask around...change is always tough but this has been especially rough.

Change is always tough when it affects your daughter's playing time.
If you are actually a member of Seacoast United and have decided to come on here and publically BASH the club, then shame on you!! If you have a problem with it, deal with internally like a man and not behind your compueter screen.
MS done a great job for Seacoast United in his time, and decided to take a different career path. Good luck to him on his change of career.
The fact that MS left in July and this post is now only coming up proves that the original poster is not from Seacoast United. Such a shame that people cant just concentrate on the fact this is youth soccer and forget about all this BS.

The last poster is correct. MS left his position as Girls DOC last July to follow a different career path. Great guy but I believe the new DOC and Girls DOC will continue to improve the club as a whole.

I agree that change is tough. And no one likes to to see their childs playing time reduced. That being said though, when looking at the results from last spring and this past fall, you can't deny that MS's team was not producing a lot of wins. Under new coach IS they have won 10 of their last 11 games.

Who They Played!
