U13 Boys - World Cup (not sure which one though) --- Still confident in this one as it may be 2 world cup teams in the final.
U14 Boys - Londonderry --- NHPSA looked decent as well so I see it going down to those 2.
U15 Boys - Lightning - Definitely wrong with this one... NHPSA or Seacoast
U16 Boys - Lightning - This whole group looks weak so not sure.
U17 Boys - Classics ---Londonderry in the hunt.
U18 Boys - World Cup -- still possible but maybe Seacoast

      U12 Girls - Seacoast --- yes
U13 Girls - World Cup (PM) --- yes but a lot of work to do.
U14 Girls - World Cup (DW) --- yes
      U15 Girls - Seacoast --- yes
U16 Girls and up I am not familiar with but I'll say Seacoast. -- yes, all seacoast
I agree with your reassessment. I am surprised with U14 Classic, should be a good game against Londonderry. I though Londonderry was going to cruise through.

This coming weekend should be good.

        Yes it is.

On second thought, please elaborate on what is so shocking about a team of 11 and 12 year old boys losing a soccer game to another team of 11 and 12 year old boys.

The 2 teams in question are both in the same division in NEP and have played each other I believe 5 times now, with Seacoast having won 3 games and NHPSA having won 2 games. So far this spring season they have beaten each other by a score of 3-1. Maybe they will meet each other in the finals to decide the State Champ. Perhaps one of them will stumble along the way. Who knows.

NHPSA U12s have improved a bit from last fall's team. A final with NHPSA and Seacoast Brazil would be fitting as they are the two top U12 teams in NH.
It will be interesting to see how both teams come thru the June tryouts.

I like how the U12 Seacoast B team threw the game against Londonderry...nice job there!

And why would they do that?

Why would they care...they aren't playing either in the semis and neither is much of a match for the other side anyway.

Wishful thinking and certainly an upset parent...get the job done and you don't have to make up excuses.

not upset, just curious how this works

                    NHPSA U11 tie Londonderry 0-0
                    NHPSA U12 beats Londonderry 1-0
                    Seacoast beats NHPSA U12 3-1
                    Seacoast beats NHPSA U11 4-1

Londonderry is down by 2 goals going into second half and beats Seacoast 4-2...Really! Seacoast will do anything it can to try to best NHPSA

How this works is that 11/12 years old boys play soccer very inconsistently and sometimes lack maturity to handle adversity. Perhaps the Seacoast boys were overconfident going into the second half and lacked the maturity to know how to respond to Londonderry scoring in the 2nd half. How about giving credit to the Londonderry boys for working hard and not quitting. They earned themselves a spot in the semi finals.

How this also works is that players/parents need to be commited to the team if they want to be a "premier" team and compete for State Cups and Tournaments. The best way to make the semi-finals is to win your own games and not rely on others to win or lose. Had the U11s scored one more goal or given up one less goal, they would have won the tiebreaker and finished in second place. The U11s lost 4-1 to Seacoast and tied Londonderry. Apparently, based on a previous post, 5 players were missing from those games due to vacation. Instead of blaming another team and making ridiculous claims, perhaps you should ask the parents of the missing players why they chose to go on vacation and miss the State Cup games.

I agree with the Londonderry mom. Get it done or shut up. Very simple! See you next year.

Looks like they already "bested" NHPSA.

I know when I'm going to throw a game I always go up by 2 goals. Time to go get your nails done.

Does it really matter...if they couldn't advance in that bracket do you really think they had a chance in the semis?

I've never seen more uneven brackets and they still couldn't do what they needed to do.
