Phantoms-Classics Merge Dead or In Hiding?

The Phantoms have just told the NH soccer community about their Super Y tryouts -- http://www.nhphantoms.com/supery.htm.

There is no mention of the Classics who they merged with last Fall. What's up with that? Did it not work so well and they parted ways? Alternatively and a lot more cynically, did the Classics realize that their over the top dominance of the whole set up make it unpalatable to many so they have receded into the background?

The Classics on their website are telling the world that its still one seamless program --

Both organizations will remain intact but the “alliance” will focus on collaboration and the good of the game for the players and families involved in New Hampshire soccer. The NH Classics will be the USYSA arm and the NH Phantoms will be the Super Y arm, thus cooperatively working together rather than competing for the same resources (players, coaches, facilities, etc.). The alliance creates an economy of scale where the players have seamless access to premier level play in both USYSA and Super Y and a path to a professional level team which is unique in New Hampshire.

Same players, coaches and facilities. Different packaging, same product.

Are you sure its the same old thing? Strikes me as pretty odd. How can the Classics promise their premiere club teams a summer season when the Phantoms-are holding open tryouts-or is the Phantom tryout just for show? Phantom website has no mention of who their coaches will be for the teams. The Phantom website announcement is also fascinating. Animosity? People wouldn't go to their professional league games because they were mad (at who exactly?) And why won't the Phantom winter training conflict with other clubs training and spring season. There is more to this story. Who's going to tell it?
