They are trying to change the law in KY so that the party of the senator leaving office nominates the replacement if the senator can’t complete the term. Currently, the Governor appoints the replacement and the gov of KY is currently a Dem.

Right now, CNN and MSNBC play little mini sound bites from Biden that are consistent with him being coherent. FOX plays longer sound bites in which Biden says "uh" fifteen times in one sentence and Biden loses his train of though multiple times within a span to fifteen seconds. Those who watch CNN or MSNBC think he is doing fine. But an actual press conference would expose Biden as not being in control of his faculties unless the questions were pre-cleared and Biden were reading the answers from a teleprompter. Of course, he has even screwed that up many times.
