As opposed to handouts for millionaire and billionaires, the latter of which alone have gained 4 trillion in wealth at the expense of working people since the beginning of the pandemic, thanks to the GOP agenda.

Besides, not everyone gets a handout. I don’t get a stimulus and we didn’t need one. But I support them for those who do. Monthly. I think $2000/month would be more appropriate for those in need.

I read that there are 550 billionaires in America right now.
If we confiscate all there earnings we would have enough to run the government for about 8 months.
Instead of allowing our government to keep telling us what we need perhaps we need to question how our government is spending our money.

Voters on both sides of the aisle agree on that, but they have different priorities. Me personally I think we can shave a few percentage points off our military budget to afford things like universal PreK and free state college for lower and middles income families. We'll still have the largest military in the world multi times over, but all kids will have a more level playing ground to start off in life, and a chance for a college education should they want one later on. Do my Republican voting friends agree?

In reality both sides are much closer to one another than politicians and the media want us to think. It serves them well to keep us divided. We all want good jobs/strong economy, quality education for our kids, the ability to stay healthy without going broke, be able to retire and not have to move back in with our kids out of financial necessity, a planet our grandkids can live on.

And? It was BEFORE lockdowns started. Trump blaming China led to a huge surge in anti Asian hate speech and Asian businesses were suffering as a result. San Fran, her district, has a huge Chinese American population that she was trying to help.

So during this time we have Trump on tape with Woodward saying he knows how deadly and contagious the virus is but Trump didn't bother to share that detail with Pelosi. On February 28th he told us that it will soon go from 15 to zero. Yet you want to blame Pelosi. Would have been nice for Trump to have shared that with her and us on February 1, no? You think Nancy would have said that if Trump came out on national tv to warn the nation? But no, he didn't want to scare people. So of course you blame Nancy for that.
