They were fine with EPA anti-environment lobbyist being put in charge of the EPA. Politics.

As to why we keep bring up Trump, that's because he set the precedent on this very topic so why should we not bring it up? Sort of like why not pass this 1.9 trillion legislative the exact same way republicans passed their wasteful tax cut when the economy was humming. A party who turned a blind eye to the graft and nepotism oozing from the Trump administration doesn't deserve any deference when it comes to these issues. I would be far more upset, far more, if Biden anointed his daughter as senior adviser and gave her an office in the White House.
Did you have any concerns about Ivanka and Jared being given those roles while they were making tens of millions on their private businesses? I suspect you won't answer and will deflect.

Not knowing all the facts and the reason for the pick (and you don't either), I would prefer someone else. But I don't see it as a big issue. There is no way to be perfect no matter what you do as president. This to me is a very minor issue.

The problem with trying to have a conversation on this topic is that you believe Trump is god and never did any wrong. You also believe he won the election.
The democrats will be using Trump's administration and the republicans' conduct as the benchmark. Remember Merrick Garland? Your response to this very minor issue of an appointee in the justice department makes me think that you are royally pissed about everything Biden is doing. And I enjoy that very much. An awful lot. Carry on.

As for the rest of your post you don't know me or what I believe and you're assumptions are way off base, but I guess that's what happens when you're so sanctimonious.

You call me sanctimonious because in your mind all of that nepotism, graft and appointment of unqualified cabinet members was perfectly fine with you under Trump and it sucks admitting that you're a hypocrite. It also pains you that Biden is shredding Trump's horrendous legacy. And I love it!

You were fine with that too I'm sure.

To date the right has never provided one shred of evidence of Biden family corruption - all accusations. A GOP led committee found no legal wrongdoing by the Biden's (but did call Hunter's position "problematic" and many on the left agree). Why would Trump sit on information that could have guaranteed he would win in 2020? Well, there wasn't anything to sit on.
