Very good turnout and very competitive scrimmages. I didn't see a ton of new kids or any new superstars, so I would guess any changes will only be incremental.

I found this hellsite during the start of covid when I was trying to figure out if soccer was going to be shut down.

Now it is like a scab that hasn't quite fallen off and itches like crazy.

I do appreciate that you were honest in your response. If you were the OP then I just think you were trying to start **** without knowing anything and deserved to be called out on it.

Most of the time, players that will actually be offered a spot on these teams are brought into practices and get offers from there. ID clinics are typically just for show. At Stars, they didn’t even have the current ECNL or ECNLR players attend for 08 and 07.

You didn't call me out on anything. This is a VERY unusual year and there will be tremendous movement between clubs. Nothing personal it is what it is.

why would there be tremendous movement? maybe some more movement because of DA collapsing and GA not being great in the NE but i think you are overdoing it by quite a bit.

ID clinics can be very misleading - as several have pointed out most player movement actually happens by directly reaching out to the coach and then trying out individually at practice.

No doubt that Scorpions will be a big beneficiary of the ECNL's "victory" over DA/GA though. They have more room to improve than Stars talent-wise and are located in a pretty good spot .

The 2008/2007 ID clinic last night was overflowing with kids from all over, but the number of SSS and NEFC players was evident from their back packs. The platform matters to a lot of families.

The question is where the players better than current ECNL national kids on that team. They are probably only looking to upgrade a few spots in the starting line up. Most likely they will be changing out a lot of ECNL regional players except for the top third.

Looks like about 20% are GA, thats pretty consistent. I’m pretty sure SSS and NEFC can find a good game in showcase events... you know, when coaches might be watching.
