Is FI leaving NEFC for Select?

These soccer club regions have no tangible assets, or even cherished league spots,

NEFC probably doesn’t want to fight with LL, Galway, Bolts, Mass City, Seacoast, Stars SS or Scorpions in the region anymore

From what I know basically no kids from NEFC SS have ended up on a DPL or GA/DA team

Speaking from personal experience, there was no pathway from the NEFC SS to Mendon for either DPL or DA/GA. If your daughter wanted to make that move, she had to head to an ID Clinic just like everyone else. When I asked FI how the relationship worked, he basically told me that a girl leaving for Mendon counted as a player lost from his SS region.

Sounds like the same complaint SC had last spring when he pulled most of NEFC SE with him to RI Surf.

Bristol County was just added to the list of NEFC Regional Tryouts. That was the only other one missing in addition to South Shore.

Have to wonder why SS wouldn't be advertising tryouts that would be held as soon as next week if something wasn't going on.

Simple not as much money in only coaching one age group. Unless he gets a ton of u littles he would have to take a pay cut.

Hostage is a little strong but I can see where some would be worried. Big difference between NEFC Regional tuition and what Bolts typically costs for their U13+ boys programs.
