Fall season is (mostly) behind us. Who has the strongest 09 team so far this year?

Spring season is around the corner. Who's looking good in the pre-season tournaments? Is all the real action in MLS Next and ECNL at this point or are there still good "local" teams in the NEP or NECSL?

Spring season is around the corner. Who's looking good in the pre-season tournaments? Is all the real action in MLS Next and ECNL at this point or are there still good "local" teams in the NEP or NECSL?

While there are some great players on teams across all of the leagues, the most competitive 2009 teams are really isolated to MLSN at this point. And it’s just Bolts, NEFC and IFA when you’re looking at the best teams in the NE region. ECNL teams are solid but are the 2nd teams for clubs that have both so they won’t be as strong.

Having said that, the ‘real action’ is on whatever field your son is training / playing on during any given day. I’m trying to soak it in and enjoy this time with my son while I can.
