Honestly, seems like a waste of time. If there wasn't a recruiting black-out, you could make an argument. But, now....seems like an unnecessary risk for very little reward.

A lot of teams have dropped out also.

People who follow the state rules have to think about quarantining and getting tested when they come back...many issues with little reward.

My experience with the major clubs is that they are all trying to adhere to the guidelines in effect at the time. If they can adhere to the guidelines and have practices and games then they have practices and games under whatever modifications are required. If they can't have practices and games because the guidelines don't allow it then they don't have practices and games. It's simple. You are the one substituting your own view as to what is appropriate for the guidelines set up by the experts you are touting. If the state guidelines allow clubs to travel and play by following certain procedures and the clubs follow those procedures then it's kind of stupid for you to come on here and call out the clubs for not adhering to what the "experts" are suggesting.

The guidelines from the states are simple -- avoid NON-ESSENTIAL travel. Period.

My aunt was accidentally infected by someone on a service call to her house. They did not wear a mask. She, unfortunately, did not object as the work was of a critical nature.
That selfish individual is partly responsible for her death.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I understand your anger and dismay.

Thousands upon thousands have suffered her fate and there are many more thousands to come....but there could be many less if people would work hard to contain this until the vaccine is widely administered.

Anyone that still believes masks work are fools - EVERYBODY wears a mask - MA is one of the highest in mask wearing compliance- it doesn’t matter! Do you have any concept of how much worse this would be if more was open and more people didn't head the warnings? We will hit 400K by inauguration day and that's with half the country taking it seriously and all the mask rules, restrictions etc.

This will be over soon (with the vaccines rolling out) but now is not the time to relax. Cases are through the roof and the more contagious variant will quickly take hold. Staying vigalent is more important than ever. We have to hold on for a few months and it can be done.
