Not the poster but much is out of our control. I agree the medical risk to kids is low and playing outdoors has low transmission risks. But they can get Covid and can be spreaders. This isn't local games. It involves flights, hotels and restaurants in a state that doesn't give a sh×t about Covid. Players will want to hang out together too. That's part of the fun of these events.

All worth it? Mine is a sophomore so yes there's still time. I know juniors are under the gun. But two coaches so far have told mine they aren't going. I wouldn't be surprised if more coaches and teams bail out as it gets closer. The state would never tell them to cancel but the league might have to out of necessity

You can’t compare the United States to other countries which have done a much better job with respect to wearing masks and social distancing. I just told my D club coach we aren’t going to Sanford - no mask requirement for players and spectators - absolutely no mention on the ECNL’s website about Covid. Just an old statement from last March. Seriously I’m not letting my daughter on a field with a bunch of kids from the south I don’t don’t wear mass. I think it’s irresponsible for the coaches of the two clubs that are going to even ask our daughters to go. What do you guys think?
