You'd think Stars White was practicing in Taunton with all the attendees at ECNL tryouts tonight.

I think it means these girls had so much potential but unfortunately is the stepchild of SSS. No wonder why girls have been leaving and trying out for other teams.

Sounds like that team is falling apart

Team has been falling apart for a while thanks to the Select way. They had a “guest player” playing up with them for a few years when they were U10-U13 and the coach had everything revolve around her. Needed a goal, put her at forward. Needed to preserve a lead, put her at defense. Never actually developed the other girls on the team and ever since the “guest player” stopped playing with them, the team doesn’t know what to do. Important team development years wasted.

Wow ! Because of one player 3 years ago a whole team didn’t develop? How bitter are you? Going to be honest , you don’t seem to know much about soccer

Building tactics around one player can be stifling, but like the last poster asked, What was the rest of the team doing for 3 years to not develop in all that time?

Over 60 kids at National White 08 tryouts. That’s not normals.

Building tactics around one player can be stifling, but like the last poster asked, What was the rest of the team doing for 3 years to not develop in all that time?

some girls are developing and some are not. Need a team to develop to show results not just a few girls. Also been alot of movement in and out of that team

It’s normal in years that the GA collapses.

Hearing about a big defection from Scorpions. Heading to SSS. Anyone confirm?

Nothing would classify as big from that team.
