lol a lonely soccer parent talking to him/herself trying to stir up conversation. Sad when a parent keeps on answering their own posts for hours. This 08 thread has been non existent for 1/2 year and we are to believe that it magically appears with 10 posts in 2 hours??? The funny thing is sir/maam that Blue actually got alot stronger this spring so you trying to stir up that another 09 is on Blue or others left Blue doesn't make any sense. They will be fine. I'm sure once the 5 09's move back down :

A. Blue 2009's become, by far, the best 09 team in the state-sorry Select
B. there will be hundreds of talented 08's lined up trying to get on Blue. Although they won't be as strong with the loss of the 09's they most certainly be a top 4 club and qualify for the ECNL playoffs every year
C. sir/maam name another Massachusetts club duo of 08's and 09's as strong as Blue's 08's and 09's are right now. Hint-you can not!

You and I should try and keep this dead thread going. Should we talk about Surf finally breaking up next?? What are your thoughts on that?

Those girls aren’t moving any time soon. Maybe for their junior year because their teammates will be done with the recruiting season by spring or senior year?

They are starting to lose good 08 players who think they are unnecessarily losing playing time to a bunch of 09s. And they are not wrong.

Good for them for making the finals, but no they won't play in front of more than three coaches - two of them from the two teams playing.

You parents of younger kids are a sorry group. I knew my kid was a top player on a top team and had no reason to put other kids and teams and leagues down. Seems like most people in this thread can’t be happy unless they’re crapping on someone else. Must be exhausting being so consumed by your insecurities.

You're confusing facts with putting something down. Great they're in it, hope they win it. It is a lesser league, by a lot now unfortunately. Another alphabet soup league that used to be pretty solid and now isn't.

So what's the deal with Strs White 2008? Rumors out of tryouts is they were attempting a complete turnover of the roster. Any truth there?

They certainly struggled this year. Not sure how you turnover a whole team though. Massachusetts is stretched thin.

You can't. There's only so much talent in the state and at that age it's pretty much knownand those players pretty locked into their current teams. There's not much movement once they're in HS

08s have been in HS for a year. To answer the question, the coach is tired. He coaches both 08 and 09 white and they had basically matching records. He has them both practicing together on a small piece of turf. It's all about drills, and there is no situational activities at all. He doesn't review game film, he doesn't have 1on1's., there is nothing that happens from December to March. It is a paycheck for this coach to babysit blue dropouts, and generational parents who demand their 6th and 7th club kid plays on a national team.
