1) Can NE Surf keep competing with the big dogs year after year?

What league is Surf playing in this year? I seem to remember they played up last year in whatever weak league they were playing in but that isn't possible this fall with most of the 2007s playing in high school. Anyone have a link to their schedule?

NEFC lost almost half of their 2007 GA team to ECNL teams going into this year. They will keep those 2008s (and younger) as far away from Stars and Scorpions as possible.

Did they really lose 8 players to ECNL teams?

Does this mean that at least half of GA players can easily slot onto an ECNL roster?

Another by the way. Bayside lost to Aztecs in April 10 1 and came back to tie them the last two times they played. Heard they lost one defensive starter so I would not read too much into this scrimmage score from either perspective.

Bayside 08's have always been a bit of an enigma. Can look pretty good some days and pretty bad on others.

Maybe this is the year the ECNL clubs, with all there build in advantages, finally separate themselves from the non-ECNL pack?

All the refs usually do is give yellow cards to the Bayside parents. Then PB has to come over to calm the Cadillac Lounge Mafia down. Unless you beat them 5-0, and they don't say a word. I highly recommend going that route.

One more thing. Not a parent of that team, just someone who knows the team well and is sick and tired of listening to ECNL blowhard parents like yourself. Fortunately, not all ECNL parents behave as you do. Unfortunately a very vocal minority who come on here to talk nonsense and add unneeded toxicity to the soccer community.
