No. Why should anyone care about how other teams in the state do in some tournament? Unless my kid has a friend playing, there's no reason to care at all. Our family is like just about every other family with club soccer-playing kids; we care about our kids' happiness, development and health. We care about their soccer playing future, and root for their friends and teammates that we know.

Some kids whose parents happen to also happen to live in this state and pay Massachusetts taxes? They're strangers.

Personally I don't think any 12 year old girl needs to fly 3000+ miles to play in any soccer game. Very weird to me. This shouldn't even be debatable. It's like child abuse. This GA tournament is a huge waste of time.

So 12 yr old boys ,it’s okay ? You ever play sports at a half decent level? It’s about the whole experience .My family (4 kids,various sports ) 1 u little left , had great fun on these sports trips . We used this trips as vacations and had a blast while keeping the focus on the sport on game days. I talk to older ones and they all say they loved it. And for you ja** a****, 1 division 1, 1 division 3, and 1 didn’t want to play in college.,but all loved their experiences. Simple , you don’t want to travel 3000 miles don’t sign up. But don’t put down those that are okay with it. Btw 5 hr plane ride for kids is nothing.
