For the yahoo poster. It looked like the fact poster was just commenting on an earlier post (that looked wrong if that is the correct numbers). Not trying to make excuses for losing in a couple weeks !

Hope both Mass. teams do real well out in California but at the end of the day it's just another money grab by a desperate league trying to hold on for dear life. As a poster already said 4 of the 16 supposed best teams in GA are already leaving GA next week to ECNL. I barely know math, but that's 1/4 of the teams in this shin dig that are bolting. I guess there is hope next year of Empire United getting invited to play in this thingy thing that GA has.

Doesn’t that show that GA top teams are just as good as ECNL as they are going to play in ECNL? Agreed the bottom teams were weak but couldn’t programs be getting better as they mature? Isn’t that what the Mass ECNL teams do, rebuild? If GA is so bad why take it’s teams into the league? As for money grab, all the leagues do it. The top 10 local teams could play each other and have great competition next year but that’s not how the world works.

On GAL team the bench won't have nearly the depth, even at a "stop" GAL team let alone one like LISC.. A top GAL player can likely do well at most ECNl teams. Players 5-22 likely may not, if they can even get a spot at this point.

So what you are saying is you would be surprised ( because NEFC is better ) if the future ECNL teams beat the GA team. You are right !
