(shaking head). Only an imbecile would judge U13 keepers by the number of goals given up without taking into consideration (1) strength of team and (2) strength of schedule.

In this scenario, Scorpions were pretty terrible this year in a very strong league (no Cedar Stars or NYSC to be found) and Select was the consistently strong team it has always been in a top-heavy league.

Hopefully she is more committed than she was when she was at SSS. Tough never knowing when your keeper is going to show up for games and tournaments.

What is it with you 08’s and goal keepers? Above post was 1 of the 1st posts in this 08 thread in December. I remember reading it at the time and just shaking my head in disgust. Looks like goalie hate if i ever saw it. You people need to cut the crap and stop talking about young goalies. Any goalie in U-13 deserves to be respected. Its a hard enough position as is and we should be cheering on young goalies. Now move on please.
