For me, I have no problem if a club like SSS strives to get as many got soccer points as possible. What’s wrong with that? It certainly looks great when their 07 team is ranked in the top 20 in the country and their 09 team is ranked in the top 10 in the country. Good for them.

It's good for a club to have U11, maybe U12 teams, ranked highly on gotsoccer. Any age above that makes no difference. Why? Because many parents U11 and below haven't quite figured out yet that those points are nonsense and can be, and are, totally manipulated by the clubs. It's good marketing. I seriously doubt that anyone cares at all that the 07 is top 20 in the country on gotsoccer because it no longer carries any significance with anyone you're involved with at that age. Certainly not college coaches. Not even other parents.
