You still have to wear a mask

You can’t play soccer against each other unless a mask is worn. Wear a mask or keep doing non contact drills
    Simple

Thanks for starting a loser thread. All parents who are there will be soccer should post on this thread only. Thanks in advance!

You made no sense with your grammar.
However... you still have to wear a mask to play soccer
      You’re welcome in advance sweetheart

A kid that could die from covid wouldn’t be playing soccer unless it’s on an PlayStation.

You guys can talk all the 5hit you want, unlimited it seems, but when the people running clubs think about the liability they expose themselves to if they DON'T follow the guidelines - they are going to follow the guidelines.

Moderate Risk sports and recreation activities are characterized by:

•Sports or activities that involve intermittent contact but with protective equipment or mitigating measures in place that may reduce the likelihood of respiratory particle transmission between participants (e.g., wearing masks, modifying play)

Examples: Baseball, softball, crew, sailing, track and field, running clubs, team swimming, volleyball, dance class, fencing, field hockey, no-contact lacrosse, soccer

So find a state that bans soccer and move there.

“Activity Organizers must require facial coverings to be worn while engaged in a moderate risk sport/activity where intermittent contact might occur and it is safe to do so”

They have to wear a mask to play whether you like it or not, just ****ing do it and play, it’s not up for debate between mask wienies and mask deniers

Any kid who can’t wear a mask while playing soccer without passing out should not be playing soccer.

The operative phrase is “ when it is safe to do so.” Youth baseball doesn’t require players to wear masks, except on the sidelines where social distancing can’t be achieved. The risk of injury to batters or fielders is too high for them to wear a mask at the plate or fielding.

It would not be safe to have kids wear masks playing soccer given the amount of running required and potential for issues with breathing through a mask. Coaches will be required to wear masks as well as fans on the sidelines. That has not changed with soccer now being classified as moderate risk.

Yep, obviously. Midfielders running 4-5 miles need to breath. If someone doesn’t like the rules then don’t have your child participate. Not complicated, same in almost every state.
