I’m seeing my friends who don’t play club pray that their town team will hold a practice and if they do that it doesn’t rain out. I see towns waiting unsure if they will play in the fall and clubs are like BRING IT ON! The passion and resourcefulness and creativity is at the club level. Yep I know it’s because they are a big $ business but right now I’ll pay! I want to be part of a club that does all it can to keep our kids playing and developing during COVID. Thank you Clubs! The clubs, towns, high schools and states that keep up sports will keep kids healthy and on a few years those kids will be getting the spots on all the college and pro teams.
Thanks for the pitch, club employee. My kids club is full of wealthy parents with money to blow. They are happy to shell out money to keep their kids active and out of the house. They also feel lost, if their kid is not part of a club or something. I’m sure it will pay off, and they’ll all be playing D1 and get drafted to the NWSL. If not, it’s okay, they still have friends and memories.

If clubs stiff parents this fall like they did this spring with refunds/credits less than 20% then many of them will not be in business a year from now.

Parents and kids do not want Zoom practices and boring online competitions. It would be incredibly tone deaf if a club thinks that they can stiff parents two seasons in a row, no matter what the contract says as COVID 19 is a known issue and good faith is a two way street.

          Dear Club Owners,
Please postpone games until Spring. I like the idea of 3 practices a week and scrimmages within club only. I don’t care if the scrimmages mix boys and girls or ages to get a variety of play. We don’t need games until spring but our kids do need to keep developing and enjoying the sport.

Ps agreed, don’t make us but uniform this fall. Practice jerseys are enough.
          Thanks!

          PS
And please never send us a zoom practice again.

Why on earth would you want games to be postponed?

You will see these parents as the most aggressive parents on ts. Telling us all how great their child is and where their child’s team is ranked in got soccer. Its funny reading these people.

Because cases are blowing up so since the vaccine is currently in trials right now we are looking at 3 months until the vaccine which means we are all on edge until Nov at least. Then we have flu season too. So we won’t feel comfortable for games until spring have practices but postpone games.

For something healthy kids don't get seriously effected by and don't spread? Brilliant. Don't have your kids play if you don't want but don't expect the rest of us just go along with your issues.
