It is a fantastic club for development, as somebody earlier posted.
They do struggle a bit with keeping older, better players. Too bad there’s no compensation for getting players prompted.

Club soccer is littered with clubs using knock-off replica jerseys for teams.
    Nothing new here.
    Not PK.

SPOL had the opportunity to keep the Liverpool name but the owner doesn't like giving up any control and didn't have the funds to buy in. They are now SPOL but associated with Celtic - thus the mint green practice uniforms. They are a club that doesn't have a clear direction and is grasping at strings to survive.

That’s probably why they just made a deal with Best FC and PM. PM likes his money.

        Wrong.
The official license and subsequent affiliation with the International Academy program is ridiculously expensive and based on the utter lack of success with LFCIA on the south shore, a complete waste of money.
Celtic FC shares a long history with Liverpool FC and their youth program is fantastic.
They have already hosted a few camps at SPOL facilities, with great success.
Including 1 young man invited to train in Glasgow.
Worcester Stars may invite you to Lancaster...

One player goes to Glasgow vs a large number of players moving on to play Division 1 College Soccer each year.....

            Bump

I'm not ready to relegate SPOL to page 2. This mismanaged club of daddy coaches almost failed. We're left with Spirit of Best FC. Here's a problem MG, Best FC participates in the Stars Cup, will BG get over NS's departure 2 years ago and have your teams face some local competition? Rumor has it "BG's" 07 dream team may not be as good as they were 7v7. You'll always have Copa. What a special group they were. Too bad #1 loves basketball more.
