To soon to tell it partially depends on what precautions need to be taken in the classroom. Also there will be restrictions on attendance at any HS events. Outside of the northeast it looks a lot more likely.

Throw in spread among the teams where players would be asked to quarantine for 14 days. That could quickly wipe out numbers and potentially a season for some teams.

There is no way that schools are going to be encouraging people from other towns to come to their facilities anytime soon.

Maybe a more important question- if sports are cleared to return early 2021, will the MIAA allow fall sports to play in the spring?
If so, will they move seasons around to fit in a shortened fall season in March/ April, followed by a shortened spring season in May/ June? Or will they play all sports simultaneously- a nightmare for scheduling but a really cool sports bonanza for the athletes and fans? There are issues with kids playing both fall and spring sports too.
